1. Parties and acceptance

These terms govern the relationship between the natural person set out below, who operates geospys.com and the GeoSpy AI applications, and everyone who uses the service. By using the service you accept these terms.

2. The service and its limits

Location estimates are produced by an AI model, are probabilistic and may be wrong. The service is for entertainment and educational purposes.

GeoSpy AI estimates, from the visual content of a photograph, where it may have been taken. The estimate is given at city or regional level; exact address, GPS coordinate and identification of persons are deliberately not provided.

The Street View game shows you a panorama and asks you to guess where it is. It never uses your own location and does not request location permission from your browser or device.

3. Account and acceptable use

You must sign in with a Google account to analyse a photograph. You undertake not to use the service for the following:

• Following, harassing or locating a specific individual.
• Any form of unlawful surveillance.
• Infringing anyone’s privacy or personal rights.
• Any purpose contrary to the law.
• Uploading unlawful, harmful or infringing content.
• Bypassing usage limits by automated means, by opening multiple accounts or by any similar method.

You are responsible for having the right to upload the photograph you upload. Uploading a photograph of another person for the purpose of locating them is contrary to these terms and, depending on the circumstances, may constitute a criminal offence.

4. Free use and its limits

The website includes one free photo location analysis per Google account — once, not once a day. To keep that limit meaningful, your IP address and a device fingerprint are recorded when the free analysis is used; this is explained in the Privacy Policy and in the Personal Data Disclosure Notice.

The Seller reserves the right to convert free use into a paid package or a paid subscription at certain times, and to offer it free again at others. While free use is converted, no free analysis is given on the website; the GeoSpy iPhone app has its own free trial.

The Street View game can be played once a day without an account. The limit exists because each round loads a Street View panorama out of a finite free monthly allowance.

5. Subscriptions

Two paid subscriptions are offered on the website: Weekly, at 7.99 US dollars a week, and Yearly, at 29.99 US dollars a year. Buyers in Türkiye are charged in Turkish lira (₺389 a week or ₺1,460 a year) and everyone else in US dollars; the other currency can be chosen on the checkout page, but cards issued in Türkiye can be charged only in lira. Prices include all taxes.

Either subscription gives the Google account you are signed in with when you subscribe unlimited photo location analyses and unlimited Street View games on the geospys.com website, until the end of the last period paid for. To stop automated abuse, one account can run at most twenty analyses in any five-hour period and play at most twenty Street View games in any 24-hour period (fair use).

A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it: after the first payment, Garanti BBVA charges the same card the same amount every 7 days (Weekly) or every 12 months (Yearly), for at most ten years. You can cancel at any time, without giving a reason and without paying any fee, at geospys.com/abonelik or by writing to meric1357@icloud.com; no further payment is then taken, and access continues until the end of the period already paid for. A payment — the first payment or a renewal — is refunded only if the refund is requested within 7 days of that payment and the service has not been used at all since that payment (no photo analysis has been run and no Street View game has been played). If the service has been used even once after the payment — even a few minutes after paying — or if 7 days have passed, no refund is made; nor is any partial (pro rata) refund made. Access belongs to the Google account with which the subscription was bought; if you delete that account, access ends.

Payment, renewal, cancellation, the absence of a right of withdrawal and refunds — including the few cases in which a refund is made — are governed by the Pre-Contractual Information Form, the Distance Sales Agreement and the Cancellation and Refund Policy; on those subjects those documents prevail.

Use of a subscription is recorded — the date, time and IP address of each photo analysis and each Street View game session — and these records decide whether a payment can be refunded and, if you request a refund or dispute a payment with your bank, may be shown to the bank; the Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Disclosure Notice explain how.

The Lifetime package was sold between 25 September 2026 and 30 September 2026 and is no longer on sale. Purchases made in that period remain valid on the terms in force when they were made: access has no end date, it does not renew, and nothing more is charged for it.

Whether card payments are open at a given moment is shown at the payment step; while they are not, no fee is collected on the site.

If you begin a purchase while signed in and do not complete it, we may send up to two reminder e-mails about it to the address of your Google account. Each one contains a link that stops them.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the photographs you upload. By using the service you grant a licence limited to processing the photograph for the sole purpose of producing a location estimate, for the duration of that single request.

The software, interface, text, visual design and database of the site belong to the Seller. They may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without permission.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. The Seller is not liable for damage arising from inaccurate location estimates, from interruptions to the service or from failures of third-party providers, save in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

This clause does not limit rights that consumer legislation confers on consumers and that cannot be restricted by contract. In particular the Seller’s obligations in respect of defective performance are reserved.

8. Suspension and closure of accounts

The Seller may suspend or close accounts that act in breach of these terms. If such an account holds paid access — a subscription, or the Lifetime package sold until 30 September 2026 — the consumer’s statutory rights are reserved.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. A change that affects subscribers, or buyers of the Lifetime package sold until 30 September 2026, is notified to them by email at least thirty days before it takes effect, and their statutory rights are reserved. A price change applies only to new subscriptions: an existing subscription keeps renewing at the amount of its first payment.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Turkish law. In disputes, application may be made, within the monetary thresholds announced each year by the Ministry of Trade, to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or the Consumer Court at the consumer’s place of residence or at the place where the transaction was carried out.
