Transaction Guide
How an order is placed, how the contract is stored and how input errors are corrected, as required by Article 7 of the E-Commerce Regulation.
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This is an English rendering provided for convenience. The seller is established in Türkiye, the contract is governed by Turkish law, and in the event of any discrepancy the Turkish text prevails.
1. Technical steps for concluding the contract
A subscription, Weekly or Yearly, is ordered through the steps below. At each step you can go back to the previous one, change your choice, or leave the site without completing the order.
- Step 1 — You choose a plan, Weekly or Yearly, either in the price table on the home page or on the purchase screen that appears when you press “Analyze Location” without a subscription. That choice takes you to the checkout page, where both plans are shown side by side and you can still change your choice.
- Step 2 — Each plan shows the amount payable including all taxes and how often it is charged. The amount is shown, and charged, in Turkish lira to buyers connecting from Türkiye and in US dollars to everyone else.
- Step 3 — Payment requires you to be signed in with Google, because the subscription is put on the Google account you are signed in with. If you are not signed in, the page asks you to sign in and then brings you back to the same page.
- Step 4 — In the payment section of the same page you enter your card details; they go from your browser straight to Garanti BBVA’s payment system and never pass through GeoSpy’s servers.
- Step 5 — You read the Pre-Contractual Information Form and the Distance Sales Agreement and tick two separate confirmations above the order button: that you received the pre-contractual information, and that you accept the agreement. An order cannot be placed until both are ticked.
- Step 6 — The order button states the amount you pay, and directly above it the page states in plain words that the subscription renews every week or every year until you cancel. You press the order button, which puts you under an obligation to pay and is your acceptance of the automatically renewing subscription; your bank then asks you to confirm the payment with 3D Secure.
- Step 7 — The bank sends you back to a result page showing whether the payment went through, the amount, the order number and the bank reference. If the payment is approved, the subscription is active on your account at once. The later renewal payments are taken by the bank automatically, without repeating these steps.
The order button itself says that you are paying, how much, and that you are subscribing (for example “Pay $29.99 and subscribe”), so it is clear that placing the order puts you under an obligation to pay (Article 8/1 of the Distance Contracts Regulation).
2. Storage of the contract and later access
The contract concluded on the order is stored electronically by the Seller. Under Article 20 of the Distance Contracts Regulation the information and documents relating to the contract are kept for three years.
A copy of the contract and of the order summary is sent to the email address held in your account once the order is completed; that message constitutes a durable medium. If you lose the copy, you can request it from meric1357@icloud.com within the retention period.
3. Correcting input errors
Before you confirm the order, a summary order form is displayed so that you can review and correct what you have entered.
- You can return to the price table at any time with the “Back to pricing” link on the checkout page.
- Your browser’s back button also returns you to the previous step; neither creates an order.
- You can freely correct the fields at the payment step before confirming the order.
If you notice a mistake after the order has been confirmed and payment taken, write to meric1357@icloud.com.
4. Alternative dispute resolution
The Seller is not party to any binding alternative dispute resolution mechanism. In a dispute, application may be made to the Consumer Arbitration Committees or the Consumer Courts within the applicable monetary thresholds.
In most cases, writing to the Seller directly produces a faster result than an application: requests are answered within twenty working days at the latest.
5. Accepted payment methods
The subscription payments are collected by credit card or debit card (Visa, Mastercard or troy), in Turkish lira or US dollars, through the virtual POS of Türkiye Garanti Bankası A.Ş. (Garanti BBVA). The first payment is confirmed with 3D Secure by the bank that issued the card; the renewal payments are then taken by Garanti BBVA automatically from the same card. The card details are typed into the card form on the checkout page but are sent from your browser directly to Garanti BBVA’s payment system; they are not seen, recorded or stored by the Seller. So that the renewals can be taken, Garanti BBVA keeps the card on its recurring-payment record.
Whether card payments are open at a given moment is shown at the payment step; while they are not, no payment is taken on the site and nothing is charged.
