2. Essential characteristics of the service
GeoSpy AI is an internet service that examines a photograph you upload using an AI model and estimates, at city or regional level, where it may have been taken. It also offers a Street View guessing game that runs in the browser.
Without payment, one photo location analysis is available per Google account — once, not once a day — and the Street View game can be played once a day without an account; the Seller reserves the right to convert free use into a paid package or a paid subscription at certain times, during which no free analysis is given on the website. Two paid subscriptions are offered, Weekly and Yearly. Either one gives the Google account you are signed in with when you subscribe unlimited photo location analyses and unlimited Street View games on the geospys.com website until the end of the last period paid for; the two differ only in the length of the period and in price.
“Unlimited” means that there is no total, daily or monthly allowance. To stop automated abuse there is a fair-use limit: one account can run at most twenty analyses in any five-hour period and play at most twenty Street View games in any 24-hour period.
The location estimates the service produces are probabilistic and may be wrong. No exact address, GPS coordinate or identification of a person is provided. This is a deliberate limit of the service and is not a defect.
3. Price, taxes and payment
Weekly costs 7.99 US dollars a week and Yearly costs 29.99 US dollars a year. Buyers in Türkiye are charged in Turkish lira: ₺389 a week for Weekly and ₺1,460 a year for Yearly. Everyone else is charged in US dollars. You can choose the other currency on the checkout page. The lira prices are the dollar prices converted at the forex selling rate of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB) of 17 September 2026 (bulletin 2026/175; 1 USD = ₺48.6749) and rounded up to a whole lira. The prices include all taxes; no shipping, delivery or comparable cost arises, because the service is supplied entirely electronically.
The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. The first payment is taken when you place the order. After that, Garanti BBVA charges the same card the same amount, in the same currency, automatically: every 7 days for Weekly and every 12 months for Yearly, counted from the day of the first payment. Renewals stop when you cancel, and in any case after at most 520 payments for Weekly or 10 payments for Yearly, that is, after ten years. The amount, its currency and how often it is charged are shown on the checkout page before you pay.
Cards issued in Türkiye can be charged only in Turkish lira, because banks in Türkiye can charge such cards only in lira; if you pay with one, choose lira. If your card’s currency is different from the currency charged, the bank that issued your card may convert the amount at its own rate.
Payment is made by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard or troy) through the virtual POS of Türkiye Garanti Bankası A.Ş. (Garanti BBVA). The first payment is confirmed with 3D Secure by the bank that issued your card; the renewal payments are then taken by Garanti BBVA automatically, with no further action on your part. You type the card details into the card form on the site’s own checkout page, but they are sent from your browser directly to Garanti BBVA’s payment system: they never pass through the Seller’s servers and are never stored there. So that the renewal payments can be taken, Garanti BBVA keeps the card on its recurring-payment record; the Seller does not. From the bank the Seller receives only the result (approved or declined), the authorisation code, the bank reference number and the last four digits of the card.
No charge above the ordinary tariff is made for the use of the means of distance communication.
4. Performance, duration and cancellation
The service is performed electronically as soon as the bank approves the first payment: the subscription is put on the Google account you were signed in with when you subscribed, and the photo-analysis limit is lifted at once. There is no separate delivery period and no delivery cost.
Access requires an internet connection, an up-to-date desktop or mobile browser, and signing in with that Google account.
The subscription runs in successive periods — a week for Weekly, a year for Yearly — and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it, for at most ten years (520 weekly or 10 yearly payments). Access lasts until the end of the last period paid for.
You can cancel at any time, without giving a reason and without paying any fee: on the page geospys.com/abonelik, signed in with the same Google account, or by writing to meric1357@icloud.com. Cancellation takes effect immediately for future renewals: no further payment is taken, and access continues until the end of the period already paid for, then ends. Cancelling does not by itself refund the period already paid for; a payment is refunded only under the conditions in section 6. If a renewal payment is nevertheless taken after you have cancelled, it is refunded in full.
If the bank cannot take a renewal payment — for example because the card has expired, the funds or the limit are insufficient, or the payment is declined — access continues for a grace period of three days after the end of the paid period. If no payment has been taken by then, the subscription ends and access closes.
You are kept informed by email: an order confirmation after the first payment, a receipt after each renewal, a confirmation when you cancel, and a notice when the subscription ends.
Access belongs to the Google account with which the subscription was bought. If you delete that account, access ends; the renewals are stopped by cancelling, as described above.
5. Right of withdrawal
There is no right of withdrawal for this service, because it is performed instantaneously in the electronic environment; this applies to the first period and to every renewal alike. It follows from Article 15/1-(ğ) and (h) of the Distance Contracts Regulation and is explained below. You can still stop future renewals at any time by cancelling.
As a rule, a consumer may withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen days without giving any reason and without paying a penalty (Article 9/1 of the Regulation). For service contracts the period starts on the day the contract is concluded.
Article 15/1 of the Regulation, however, lists contracts in which the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised. This subscription falls under two of those subparagraphs at once:
- Subparagraph (ğ): services performed instantaneously in the electronic environment. The subscription is put on your account the moment the bank approves the first payment, and each renewed period is open to you from the moment it begins; performance happens instantly.
- Subparagraph (h): services whose performance begins, with the consumer’s consent, before the withdrawal period expires. You are asked for that consent separately and explicitly at the payment step.
For that reason, once you accept the Distance Sales Agreement at the payment step and complete the order, you consent to performance beginning immediately and you have no right of withdrawal — for the first period or for any period for which the subscription renews. If you do not wish to give that consent, you should not subscribe.
Cancelling the subscription is not the same as withdrawing from it: by cancelling you can stop all future renewals at any time, but cancelling does not by itself refund the period already paid for. Nor is the 7-day refund described in section 6 a right of withdrawal: it is the Seller’s own refund rule, available only under the conditions set out there.
Where the exception does not apply — for example if a payment has been taken but the subscription has not been put on your account — you can send a withdrawal notice to meric1357@icloud.com.
The absence of a right of withdrawal does not affect your rights in respect of defective performance, or the refunds described in the next section.
6. Refunds
A payment — the first payment or a renewal — is refunded only if the refund is requested within 7 days of that payment and the service has not been used at all since that payment (no photo analysis has been run and no Street View game has been played). If the service has been used even once after the payment — even a few minutes after paying — or if 7 days have passed, no refund is made; nor is any partial (pro rata) refund made.
Whether the service has been used is decided from the usage records the site keeps — the date, time and IP address of each photo analysis and each Street View game session. A refund is requested by writing to meric1357@icloud.com. When a payment is refunded under this rule, the subscription and its access end at once, and no further renewal is taken. This is the Seller’s own refund rule; it is separate from the right of withdrawal described in section 5 and does not create one.
Apart from this, a refund is made only in the following cases:
- A renewal payment was taken after you had cancelled the subscription: it is refunded in full.
- The same payment — the first payment or a renewal — was charged to your card more than once: every charge beyond the first is refunded.
- A payment was collected but the subscription could not be put on your account, so the service was never provided, and this is not put right: the amount collected is refunded in full.
- Your rights in respect of defective performance under Articles 11 to 15 of Law No. 6502, which cannot be excluded by contract, are reserved; if you exercise one of them that leads to a refund — withdrawal from the contract or a reduction in the price — the amount due is refunded.
Refunds are made to the same card, in the currency of the payment (Turkish lira or US dollars), through the bank, within fourteen days of the decision to refund. How quickly the amount then appears on your statement depends on your bank.
7. Defective performance
If the service does not have the characteristics agreed in the contract, you may exercise the optional rights set out in Articles 11 to 15 of Law No. 6502. The burden of proving that a service performed electronically was free of defects lies with the Seller (Article 20/3 of the Distance Contracts Regulation).
8. Technical requirements and limits of use
The service runs in an up-to-date browser with JavaScript enabled and requires no installation. Photo analysis accepts JPG or PNG images of up to 10 MB.
The Street View game runs on Google Maps Platform and therefore cannot be offered in countries where Google services are not reachable — the People’s Republic of China among them. It is not shown to visitors connecting from those countries.
No separate technical protection measure (DRM or similar) restricting your use of the digital content is applied. Rate limits are used to prevent account sharing and automated bulk use; for subscribers this is the fair-use limit described in section 2.
9. Complaints and disputes
Complaints can be sent to the email addresses given above. Applications are answered within twenty working days at the latest.
For disputes arising from this contract you may apply, within the monetary thresholds announced each year by the Ministry of Trade, to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or the Consumer Court at your place of residence or at the place where the consumer transaction was carried out.
The Seller is not party to any binding alternative dispute resolution mechanism other than the Consumer Arbitration Committees and the Consumer Courts.
10. Confirmation
Under Article 7 of the Distance Contracts Regulation the Seller must ensure that you confirm having obtained this pre-contractual information; otherwise the contract is deemed not to have been concluded. That is why the payment step asks for two separate approvals: that you have read and obtained this form, and that you accept the Distance Sales Agreement. The order button states the amount payable, and directly above it the page states in plain words that the subscription renews every week or every year until you cancel. Placing the order with that button is your acceptance of the automatically renewing subscription.
This form is an integral part of the Distance Sales Agreement that will be concluded (Article 5/2). When the order is completed, a copy of the form and of the agreement is sent to you by email, which constitutes a durable medium.
